My name is Amy Schaefer I graduated from Lakeside School of Massage Therapy in February of 2008. I am a member of the American
Massage Therapy Association.
During my schooling I had 756 hours of classes which included Anatomy and Physiology, Kinesiology, Pathophysiology, Massage
Therapy 101 and 201, Clinic (we had 36 clients total in this section), CPR and First Aid, and Fieldwork (on site training
in either Chair Massage or Table Massage at designated areas).
I am Nationally Certified as well as State.
I am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (member id #: 209703)
I am Certified in CPR and First Aid through the American Heart Association.
I have been giving massages for most of my life. My father is the main person who pushed me to do massage therapy as well
as finding out my mother has Multiple Sclerosis and Fibromyalgia also made me decide to go to school for massage therapy.
In the future i do plan on continuing to update my education and certifications.
I plan on learning more about Infant and Child Massage, Sports Massage and Sports Medicine.
